I am an Artist, Explorer, Wanderer and Designer from Northville Michigan. I grew up spending my summers on the Great Lakes swimming, wake-boarding and fishing. I am a firm believer that “A bad day of fishing is better than a good day of work”. I also love the ocean and would love nothing better than to swim in the ocean each and every day. With my work I want to create change and bring practical and experiential modalities to the world. As an artist I am free to create anything I desire. My artwork is a product of my self-expression, which allows me to make a statement. I try to communicate my ideas, emotions and purpose in my work. Art has an important role in my life. Creating art has always been a way to expand my ability to interact with the world around me, and provide skills for self expression and communication. For me art matters the same way language matters, or the way breathing matters! It is a fundamental component of what makes me uniquely human. After graduation I plan on making time to be adventurous, to play, to listen, to talk and to really try and make a difference with the time I have. For me personally, my own true happiness was never a result of something received, but more from what I was able to give, I find myself looking for a fun work environment, where I can be active and use my creativity to work with, and give back to others.
